Backwoods Composites MOAC 2.0 Super Hook ILF Medium limbs, mounted on a 21" JC-Optimus original riser. 64" Overall length Draw weight - 65# @ 29.5" Arrow Weight - 617.2 (9.5 gpp) Arrow Length - 29.75 to BOP Arrow FOC - 16.1 % Average Arrow Speed - 213.5 fps Kinetic Energy - 62.46 ft lbs. Momentum - 0.5851 lb. ft. sec That speed was with the original string. I finally got my string formula nailed down to build one of my hybrid strings for it. I haven't chronographed it with the hybrid string yet, but it's noticeably faster. I just need to shoot something with it. This has been the worst hunting season for me "ever".

Looking great! Did you mounted the 19" with Borders too? Yes Sir, I did, and she's a Sexy Thang also. She's performer also. Not quite as fast as the Backwoods, but very impressive none the less. Average fps of 206 with the same arrows. Shooting them side by side, I can't really tell any difference in trajectory until I get to 35 yards & beyond. After that the Backwoods start pulling away.
For normal range hunting shots I shoot them the same without thinking about it, but the Backwoods at those distances have quite a bit more punch/penetration. For my hunting purposes though, they both work quite well.

Nice! The HEX 6.5 are not the latest BORDERs but I like them a lot. I have a pair of HEX5 coming to me too - just to have the whole family (5, 6, 6.5, 7.5) and maybe someday the 9.

Every person I have had input on the Border limbs about say they like the 6.5's best of all of them. Even better than the new CV 9's.

Yes, that's a true assessment when they think feel of the shot and reliability.

I like to look at grains per pound. 9.4 at that speed is da&*d fast!!!
I had some BWC 32 pounders. Shot a 405 grain arrow at a little over 165 fps. 12.6 grains per pound. A little bit more stored energy than CV2's, but not as much as CV5's.
BC 1.05, CV2 1.005, CV5 1.134
