I'm not too familiar with pigs, but that one looks like there's plenty of room to fill out. It may get big with some time to grow.... while enjoying your hospitality. Give him some more time.

I'd shoot him in a heart beat if I was there when he was, but this picture is the only time I've seen him. I bet he stays well hid during the daylight hours.

Time for the roaster/BBQ then, if he shows up. But he got old somehow.

Time for the roaster/BBQ then, if he shows up. But he got old somehow. I wish, but pigs in this country are not worth trying to eat after they get up to around 100 lbs. I've ruined a good smoker trying to cook one about this size. Never could get the smell out of it again, and everything you cooked in it came out smelling the same way. Once they mature here they turn carnivorous. Once they do, you can forget trying to eat them.

I've always known and heard (where I have no experience) that the older an animal / fish gets the "gamier" it can taste, and then what they eat also affects the taste. But I would've never thought an entire animal would be lost. Kind of sad sounding and such a waste
Shoot 'em now.
