Courtesy of tradtiger, With the crazy weather we're having, let's do a temperature challenge. What? You say. Simple. Check the temperature when you're about to shoot, put a dot on the thermometer graphic target shown below, then shoot at that dot. Target: on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper, draw an old school type thermometer 9 inches tall by 3 inches wide, with a 1-inch wide center strip. Mark the center sides at 1 inch intervals and number the degrees from 10 at the bottom, up to 80. Put a line down the very center between the numbers. Draw your own or print my target. Shot: After checking current temperature (in Fahrenheit, 'cause 'Merica), put a dot on the center line for that temp. This will be your target aimpoint that day. Shoot the first arrow of a day at the dot. Shoot from 12 yards (kids, 6 yds), any stance. Must be on the 3-inch wide "thermometer" (touching line okay) to count. Touching or in the center 1-inch strip deducts a half inch (1/2") from your measure of nearest part of shaft to center of dot. Up to three days' tries allowed but not required. This is all much easier to do than to explain! Winner will be closest single day's shot to the temperature dot for that day. Just like the crazy weather, the dot will probably be in a different spot each day you try. Good luck, have fun!

This is a cool call and it'll be interesting to see local temps. I'm having enough daylight to get +/- 20 minutes when I get home, so hoping to get some shots in before the next storm rolls in Friday.

Day 1 was off target to the left at 2 1/2, 49 degrees. Day 2 was dead center but high and just off the paper at 3 5/8", 63 degrees. Day 3 I finally hit a target a bit left at 1 1/4", 58 degrees. Rain started Friday and snow on Saturday.
