Collecting Time:
This weeks challenge will be shot from 15 yards.
7 yards for the kids. Any stance.
This target is to be printed (full page), or drawn on an 8.5" X 11" sheet of paper.
The outer circle of the clock face is 8.5".
The inner circle of the clock face is 4.5".
The hour circles are 1-1/8"
If you draw it, just get it as close as you can. We aren't going to be picky about it.
You will shoot two arrows (first two arrows of the day).
The first shot will be to determine your hour/s minutes.
You must "hit" one of the hour circles to count it.
If you don't hit a circle, your first arrow scores 0 (zero).
Each hour equals 60 minutes multiplied by their indicated number.
The second shot will be to determine your additional minute/s
Count the minute/s closest from edge of shaft to the closest minute mark.
Scoring Example:
A first arrow scoring a circled 12 equals (12 X 60) 720 minutes.
A second arrow scoring also a 12, and/or closest to the 12 hour minute mark scores 60 minutes for a total score of 780 minutes, which is the highest achievable two shot score.
Any shot landing off paper, outside the 8.5" circle, or inside the 6" circle scores a 0 (zero).
Touching the line of a circle counts in your favor to the respective shot.
The winner will be whoever collects the most time on any single day.
To encourage participation - Tie breaker will be whoever collects the most time through the course of the week.
