I wanted to try the rubber string silencers for a while and when I've bought the Satori strings they came with rubber silencers too. I installed them on the string and I can say I am impressed. The bow is silent and it looks "clean".

I tried the rubber band silencers. Cost an average of 3 feet a second. Compared to wool made like Ricks video.

I will need to wait until spring to check the speed difference. With this setup I am shooting 6gpp arrows, so the difference will be from 212 to 209fps the worst case scenario. 212fps is with beaver balls and the rubber silencers are lighter - I might get better speed overall. PS The bow with the silencers.

Funny, I have three different test I want to do. BUT my chrono needs sunlight, batteries need warmer weather. I like cold weather, but I'll be looking forward to spring.

If when you think "cold weather" you think -30C to -40C for two months you fit in here like a stamp on the postcard with your "I like cold weather"
