I promise - This is it ! I'm ordering some T6 6061 aluminum to build them out of. Adapter OAL - 3/4" Adapter head - 1/4" Adapter taper - 5 degrees for 1/2" Adapter last 1/4" of taper threaded to 8-32 Adapter goes into broadhead - 1/2" Adapter goes over shaft - 7/16" 8-32 All Thread - 2-1/16" 8-32 All thread bottoms out in ferrule "snugly" 8-32 All Thread goes into shaft - 1-5/16" Weight - 80 grains Combined with Jerry Hill Killer broadhead - 275 grain

Again I'm impressed with your lathe work and awesome ideas. I'm a retired cnc lathe machinist, it would be nice to have that little lathe to play with but I have no room to put it.

I needed to build a 56 grain glue on adapter to make Jerry Hill's broadheads match my total front load of 250 grains with my screw in 175 grain broadheads. I think 55.8 grains is close enough. Perfectly snug fit all over.
Now I just need to build a half dozen more. Yes, I have all the measurements, and lathe settings written down.
