My squirrel heads work really good. Knocks the livin snot out of them. Like hittin em with a sledge hammer at 100 mph. If you look close, you can see where it knocked the hide off, and you can see that the head gathered a little hide & hair. She was about 20 ft up, and 15 yards to the bottom of the tree. Knocked her up, and away. The arrow hit the ground before she did.   |

Walking around looking for pig sign. Found some, but all a few days old. Saw, and snuck up on another squirrel. About a 12 yard shot, and a little above my head high. Smashed him against the tree.  |

Dang squirrels have got to where they leave the trees, and run in the brush on the ground where you can't see them. This one re-treed, and was giving me a dirty look, so I punched him in the mouth, and knocked his teeth out. About 10 yards, and 20 ft up.  |

I'm gonna ditch my homemade thumpers, and go back to just straight VPA SGTs.
The thumpers work real well, but I'm still getting arrows hung up in the trees, so why bother.
I'll just try to limit my shots to those that won't be directly at a big limb, or tree trunk.
