I'm just curious about what members are shooting. Not really interested in brands or makes but just curious what your go-to shooter is, recurve, longbow or selfbow?
I myself usually grab my selfbow when I walk out the door but do have a couple of longbows and recurves that I pull out on occasion.

I'm a recurve, and longbow guy. Love them both, but my recurve is my go to.

If I could shoot my longbow that's what I'd be shooting. Due to circumstances, I'm shooting a recurve.

Been shooting a 50# recurve the last few months. Still like my long bows too.

I like them both. Seems like the recurves get a little more use right now. I guess I'm still experimenting to figure it out (which I like/shoot better). I have figured out that either way, it will have to be a longer bow - 62" is probably the minimum but 64" and longer have been more comfortable.

9 months 3D and 3 months hunting? If I would be lucky to get a moose tag and have time to spare I would hunt with longbow only. Since this is not happening, the 9 months recurve is for indoor and 3D and the 3 months longbow is the rest of time. |

Selfbow is my #1 love, followed very closely by longbow. I shoot my recurves every once in a while.
