My shoulders have been giving me fits for quite a while now.
Haven't had time to shoot my bow, except for one or two shots right before heading out to hunt.
Today, my youngest Grandson & I shot our bows for a solid couple of hours. My shoulders haven't felt this good in months.

I have noticed for me the more regularly I excerise, within reason, the less my body aches and the better I sleep. If I go 4-5 days without doing my 20-30 minutes stretch routine my head hurts and my tinnitus is louder.

Thats good news. I too feel better if I shoot at least every other day.

I'm not a pessimistic person, but I shot 68 pounds for 20 years and 64 for probably another 15. Now, I have a new shoulder and bad one. There's no reason to shoot that kind of poundage for NA animals. With today's modern equipment you can drop down 10-15 pound and not lose any performance. I shot a moose with 39 pounds. The damage was already done. Now I'm struggling with 35. You never have to drop down in poundage until you have to, and then it's too late. At least for me it was.

Bowmania I'm still stuck on the twofers on pigs when I get the opportunity, so I'll stick with the 65#er for as long as I can.

I'm down to shooting 40 lbs. right now. I've got a big nasty bone spur in my left shoulder that gives me fits if I overdo anything. Gonna get it fixed after the new year.
