New "Green Light" mod for night time hog bow hunting. The green light picture don't do it justice. That tree is right at 20 yards, and I can see it with the green light as plain as day. Plus, that's with the light set on flood. I can tighten the spot down real tight if I want/need to. It's an amber rifle scope cover, that I tinted with a green sharpie. 😃

Rigging up a stand for it for use in the blind, and will be rigging a bow mount for it sometime soon.

Didn't get to use the light tonight. Didn't see a thing, and I was there from 4 p.m. until two hours after dark. Big moon up all night, so I'm not surprised. I could probably go at 3 or 4 in the morning, and see lots of both deer & pigs.

I was going to mod a pressure switch into this light for use with a bow (or rifle) mounted application.
Disassembled the light this morning, and did some checking. No can do.
The mode switching of the light is circuit board controlled, so a simple battery connect/disconnect pressure switch is out of the question.
Oh well. I'll just switch it on/off with the factory button.

The clamp mount I made for the blind worked, but it was a pain in the butt. Adapted the bow mount to a microphone stand.
Now I can set it in the blind, and position it anyway I need it. And, it will unscrew from the stand, and screw right to the bow. And, it will unscrew from the stand, and screw right to the bow.
