Hi , I am rusty craine from Fort Worth. I hunt with a bare bow, 37# limbs, 23" WA instincvie riser. I shoot with a 3/8 " fixed crawl. Shooting 29.5" 600 with 125 three balde. On pigs less than 100# pounds l've never failed to have a pass through. I shoot a light bow because of shoulder issues and a bad heart.

The "target bow" / "hunting bow" analogies never meant much to me.
I've always said: "If it will cast an arrow, you can hunt with it, and you can shoot targets with it."
Just have to find your nitch, and run with it.

I vividly remember from days gone by, how some people scoffed at my so called "target bow" as being an unfair advantage. Yes, it had a long riser (23"), an elevated rest (NAP Center Flipper), and an AMO length of 68". It was also near 100# at my draw length.
It put many a trophy in the trophy case, and I could not possibly count the number of trophies it put in the frozen meat section of my freezer.

I resisted for years. With maybe 2 months at it it's more accurate by far. The fun factor is still there. I am not sure I need it 20 yards and under yet I can't stop doing it.
