Want/Need to dampen the string slap. Here's how I do it: (1)Place a fuzzy side of peel & stick velcro at the bottom of the string groove, or just below where the string leaves the limb at brace. This one is a one inch disc. (2) Thread a foam ear plug onto the string, and align it to the center of the velcro. Works great. Better than anything else I have ever tried. This one is kind o f nasty, because they've been on my string a long time.

I can't take total credit for the ear plugs.
Cameron Root was who turned me onto the idea. I just took it a few steps further.

I was wondering if the ear plugs will move. Or are they secured to the string somehow?

I was wondering if the ear plugs will move. Or are they secured to the string somehow? Mine are just slipped onto the string. They move a little, but not much.
When they do, I just slide them back to center of the velcro.
Have never had them get off the velcro disc.

Thanks! This is something I'll be trying. I have a Dryad that shoots awesome, but it makes a noise that has been a challenge so far to figure out.
