Last year I was able to acquire a Bear Tamerlane, '70 model HC-300, 66" AMO 35@28". It was in a poor shape, with a lot of holes in the riser. During the winter I had time to patch it and finally in spring I was able to finish it I had a string for it but the arrow rest was missing (the brush and the little plunger head) so I went and add a pararest I had in the drawer covering it with velcro. With arrows to match this bow shoots as good as any 2021 bow. I don't use it often but this bow is a gem. With its "natural" weight of 3.4lbs it is the most stable in hand "wood" bow I ever owned. A short video shooting the bow today, at 20 yards, split vision aiming method. When I am doing my part, the arrow goes where I want. Blowing mosquitos and black flies comes with the activity. If you find one, grab it! PS Pass: Draven All videos will have same password.

Draven we must know good bows when we see them, Ha!Ha! not only did I have a Ventura I also had a 1970 Bear Tamerlane HC 300 and if and when I figure out how to use this site I will post some pictures, with that bow I could shoot five arrows at 20 yards and all would be touching each other, that was the best shooting bow I ever had, unfortunately it was a little bulky for hunting and I gave it to a member on the leatherwall. I now wish I had it back like a lot of bows I gave away....Oh Well!!

Ron, true! It is easy to post pics. Right corner up you have the option to add photo and will be self explanatory after that PS Post first the text and after edit the post to see the "Add image to post"

Really Impressive Shooting there Draven. Sweet rework of the bow as well. Stay Safe/Shoot Straight. MT

I just picked up a 69” Tamerlane 45# with a case that is in outstanding condition. The rest doesn’t look like an arrow has been shot across it.
